Oh Jack. You sweet, adorable little one year old. He was super happy and ready to go for this shoot! He also had this super cute little trick he kept doing that was having his momma and me cracking up at him - which then lead to HIM cracking up and smiling. We had a blast with this little guy and I cannot believe he is already ONE. Want to see his newborn session - which I swear felt like a couple of months ago. AH. It all seriously goes by too fast. Well, enjoy this cutie pie! & Happy Birthday JACK!
OHHH. This little CHUNKER.
Meet Ryan. Born January 19th. Weighing in at 10 pounds, 6 ounces. I want to eat him up and take him home! Seriously. This little guys is just a bundle of chunky goodness. He came to visit me this past Sunday with his big sister! She is another beauty and was just so happy to hold him (she did soooo good!) The mama of this little guy is a old co-worker of mine from when I used to teach in the Bronx. We caught up and chatted the entire session and it was so nice to just chit chat about teaching again. Miss it? A very little, little. But how can I ever complain about my job now - I mean I get to snuggle little humans. Well, enjoy this little guy. I sure did! Oh Zimerah.
You are gorgeous. THOSE EYES. That little face - those lips. I want to eat her up. AGREE???? I love this family so much. It's been a whole year since I've seen them. Zimerah's newborn shoot was nothing short of amazing. I was so happy to hear from them and how they wanted to come back - not only to do her milestone shoot for her ONE YEAR but also wanted to have family pictures done as well. This mama always texts me later once she sees the gallery as said, "I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DO IT - MAGIC!!!!" This happens a lot. I love that I get to create "magic" for these families and allow them to have pictures that will last a lifetime. Happy Birthday Zimerah! Until we meet again - hopefully on a beach for some summer family portraits! ;) 10 Days NEW. This precious, long-awaited beauty of a babe!
What an amazing Christmas present this family just received. Their little bundle of joy. Their little princess. Amelia, welcome to the world! Just a little something I wanted to share from this session. I usually save parent poses for the end. Mom was last up and since it's the Christmas season - I have Alexa constantly playing Christmas music in the studio. So, mom was holding her daughter for her mommy & me pose and I wanted her to do a cuddly, cheek-to-cheek pose. As she's getting into position - I notice - mom starts to choke up, and is holding back tears. I realize the song, "Alleluia" is playing all I thought was - FATE. Meant to be. What an amazing, beautiful moment to watch unfold. Momma holding her baby girl -who she waited soooooo long for - to kiss her little cheek and watch her sleep peacefully while this beautiful song is playing. Mom thinking "ALLELUIA! My baby is here. I have prayed for this day. I have waited for this day. This day is here. It was a very surreal moment. Dreams became a reality. I then started choking up too even though I tried to hold back my tears but that was beyond hard to do. Tears came out, we laughed and cried together and I realized how amazing this job I have really is. I capture these moments. I am the memory maker for this special occasion in my client's lives. AND I AM SO THANKFUL they choose me. MERRY CHRISTMAS! *Amelia is my last newborn before Christmas Day! And she really made her session so memorable. Oh. MY. I really, really adore my newborn sessions. I really, really, really adore when I get multiples in the studio! Love me some TWINS!
Walter & John were born Thanksgiving night! Momma's birth story is amazing too - she is one badass superwoman! These boys - identical by the way - made me work hard for my money but I didn't mind at all! I loved taking the time to set up the shot and make sure it was as perfect as these little guys would let me! Big brother Michael came in and gave us some great smiles too! He was all about kissing them, hugging them, and smiling for lollipops! Well, enjoy this beautiful new family of 5! Brothers forever... Well.
Last year - Miss BELLE turned 6 months in the summer so we met up on my favorite jersey shore beach {Long Beach Island} to capture her gorgeous little milestone session. This time, Jace turned six months here in the FALL so we decided to just use mom's backyard and get ourselves into some leaves. These two are just perfection. Those smiles. Those cheeks. Love them! 6 DAYS NEW.
Meet Lea. Little sister to BIG BROTHER Ethan. She was an absolute doll. A tiny little thing. Such a good little sleeper & big brother finally came around to it and decided he wanted to be in some pictures! I always love when mom and dad come to their session and want to jump in a few pictures - you just can't get this time back - so capture it! I promise you, it's always worth it. You'll only regret NOT taking those pictures. Well, this is my last newborn before THANKSGIVING & I am so, so grateful + thanksful for these little precious babies that come through my studio door. Keep em' comin'. Enjoy this beautiful family<3 Meet Blake. 6 Days NEW. 4 WEEKS EARLY!
This little peanut wanted to make her debut into this world a whole lot sooner than her due date. She came pretty quickly and has melted the hearts of everyone she has met! Even mine. She was such an amazing little girl for her session. She slept so well and let me scrunch her into little poses just perfectly. Her hands though - she fought me on those little fingers! But my favorite - I overheard momma say that she was so hoping to get a smile out of her and one of the last setups we did on the bean bag - SHE SMILED. And...I got it! Love when that happens! Her mommy brought so many different bows and wraps (this lace purple one seen below - which she got on amazon - may have to make it's way into my studio along with some others! I love the way this came out with her little naked body wrapped in it)! So, thanks to Blake's momma for giving me some inspiration on a new idea for the beanbag! Okay, well - enjoy these sneaks of little miss ADORABLE BLAKE! Oh. This little red-haired CUTIE. She is fierce. She is strong-willed. She is so independent these days that she just ruled this session. We had to do as Celia did and just go with it - and I am so glad we did. I love the candid, full of personality and fun some of these (well, most of these) images show. Sometimes posed and sit and smile - just doesn't work and that is OKAYYYYYY!!
It has been so fun watching this little family grow together since Celia was a newborn. So happy and honored that they keep choosing me - milestone after milestone. Enjoy these sneaks! Fall Family Mini-Sessions: Round ONE {Packanack Cooperative Nursery School Families: PCNS Families}10/21/2019
They have officially begun! FALL FAMILY MINIS! This year I was asked my by son's nursery school if I wanted to be their photographer for their fall family sessions! We had a beautiful day this past Saturday. It was a brisk 46 degrees to start the morning around 9AM but we warmed up to about 67 degrees early evening and wrapped up around 6pm that night. I always forget to wear my fitness watch to see how many miles I walk during these sessions - damn, it had to be at least 5?! It was back-to-back sessions non-stop from 9-6.... 12 families total (28 children & 1 dog!). It was a great day and I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful lake community and this amazing little nursery school. A portion of my proceeds goes directly back to PCNS and I am so very happy about that! Well, each family gets to see a little sneak of their session - I try and find 2-3 images per family so they have something to see within 48 hours! BUT...my goodness - this was hard to narrow down! So many good ones. I ended up with like 8 per family after my first cull so I still had to cut that down to like 3-4 per family just so this blog post wasn't superrrrrr long! Jeeze. That was hard. Well, I can't wait to show these families their full galleries by next weekend!! Okay - go ahead and check out the cuteness of these sneaks! xoxo, Lynda. Click on each picture to see it's full size - then swipe!
Meet Adrianna. 10 days new. And that HAIR - ugh, love it. She was a good little girl - made me work for her poses and her deep sleep, but like always, it happens. Big sister was SOOOO good and did such a great job with her part of the session. She is going to be a great big sister!
Enjoy these sneaks! xoxo Meet the Castillos.
Meet the Bushes. We met up for their family fall sessions this past weekend at our lake. We had gorgeous weather! No peaking sun to for beaming sunset pictures but that's okay! Both families have two children (girls for one and boys for the other). We got some great sibling pictures of BOTH. I think everyone was super surprised with the cooperation and success of those pictures! Kids did great - little lollipop and cookie eating in between takes - but overall, a great two mini-sessions in the book! Enjoy some sneaks! Hello MATTEO. Welcome to his pumpkin patch! You little pumpkin' you. It's been a year since I saw this little family and I can't get over how big and adorable this little man is! We did a "pumpkin" picture for his newborn session and mom stuck with the same theme for his FIRST birthday too. Mom and dad came with this WHOLE setup - we played around with all the props (there were even more that didn't make the cut) but I just love a good theme sometimes. I normally am a very "neutral, plain - let the baby be the focus" type of photographer when it comes to a milestone session but this momma had a great theme in mind and I was super on board to give it a go.
Super cute! Interested in booking a milestone session for your little one? Click the link below to get started! So FUN! I met up with these two families (the wives are BFFs) and I have now been shooting their fall family sessions for three years! Each year we do something a little different and this year - Beth (mom of the two kids) found this adorable historic site and secured us a spot for our session! Mount Gulian - never heard of it before this session - is SOOO picturesque. From the old historic house, to the super cool barn, to the open field leading out to the Hudson River, to a little garden section - I loved the variety of shots that we got here. It was a gloomy overcast day BUT YOU KNOW I LOVE OVERCAST! No restrictions and NO shadows - YES!
Well, enjoy their sneaks! Are you looking to book your family session with me this season? I have a couple mini-session slots still available but they are dwindling very fast. Click that link below to check out more information about them! OH. Sadie. Sadie James. You are some serious sunshine.
How is this little girl going to be ONE already? That was fast. She is seriously so stinking' cute. I can eat her up - those cheeks - those curls - that little smile - those big eyes. YUM YUM YUM. She was such a good girl - aside from the fact that she is already running at 11 months old - she tried to escape a couple times but overall she was a little model for me! Enjoy her, xoxox. FALL Family sessions have BEGUN!
October is about to get crazy busy with all these beautiful families who allow me to take these pictures for them - I absolutely love it. The weather was perfect for this family! That golden hour glow - the poking of the sun through the trees - love, love! And really, how cute is this little guy??? You would never know that he was running away from the camera more than he was hamming it up in front of it. It's magic. We had a little lollipop game we played and momma promised him the park right afterwards - all the bribes are needed for this toddler stage! This little guy TURNED ONE! A wild ONE. Meet Aiden....
Big sisters {Hannah & Madelyn} came along for the ride and we got some sibling pictures in there too before the little guy got to go to town on his cake! He was such a good boy - a little serious - but we got some smiles and giggles captured! Such a cutie with his bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes - love him! Well, enjoy these sneaks of this beautiful little family! Hi Niall. So nice to meet you! I have waited for this day. I met your mommy before she married your daddy and I took some gorgeous pictures of just mommy. Then a year or so later I met your mommy & daddy on the beach and took some pictures for them with YOU in mommy's belly! &&&& now - you are here! You came to my studio and we did a little mini session for you. You made us work hard but that's okay - you're really cute!
Can't wait to watch you grow and take your pictures to capture it all! Enjoy the sneaks! They are here! Mini-Sessions have been released and are ready for you all to sign up and secure your time slot! I am super excited to see many old faces as well as some new ones this year!

Summer Sunset Session: Lake Isle Golf Course: Scarsdale, New York {Sister, Sister Session}9/22/2019
What a beautiful summer night we had - my last summer sunset session of the year! UGH. So sad. But fall is here now and I am super excited for all my fall sessions coming up - but I sure do looooveeee me some summer nights.
These two families - the wives are sisters (boys for one family and girls for the other) - I actually photographed them last year as well and it's crazy how quick the year flies and how these kids grow up and change so quick. But - hey - that's why I capture these pictures. To remember and hold onto their little cutie faces and their attitudes and personalities! Enjoy these little sneaks! It's a GIRL for this beautiful family!
Three boys later and they finally got their little GIRL. Oh how fun this little reveal session was! We met at the lake during golden hour and we had the BEST weather. Such a gorgeous end of summer night. These three gorgeous boys were extremely well behaved for this session! Mom brought a bunch of cute little props to add in and I am so happy with the way these came out. Such a great idea and I am so beyond thrilled that she finally gets her little girl - hoping I get to also do their newborn session in February! Enjoy some sneaks! xoxo |
