If you haven't heard about it. Check out my initial blog post to see what this is all about! I have now photographed just over 135 families with this project! Donations and care packages are now getting around and I am so beyond happy about this part. To now - actually seeing the donations turning into something - and giving our front line workers something to SMILE about. We have delivered breakfasts & lunches to hospital staffs, made custom snack baggies and care packages such thoughtful items! & more deliveries coming over the next few weeks - this is all happening because of three amazing moms here in my lake who took on these volunteer positions!!! Allowing me to just focus on picture taking & editing and they work their "elf-like" magic with the donations and turning it all into wonderful things! Our DONATION TOTAL as of tonight is $4,850!! We are almost at 5K!! So, once again - thank you to all these amazing families - for hopping on board with this effort that I am so happy to work on! Not to mention - I get to escape my own quarantine home and visit yours....all while putting smiles on your faces while really - I am the one who is smiling even bigger. Brighter days are ahead! Featured Families"This pandemic has been an intense time for us as we are both hospital workers with various redeployments, separation for weeks in hotels, dealing with mentally taxing situations daily, single parenting, illness here and there with constant worry of contaminating those around us, all whilst balancing distance learning and running a household. This picture was the first time we got dressed up in weeks together- I even let my 4 year old choose my outfit because she couldn’t contain her excitement. This day it snowed and hailed for a solid twenty minutes out of nowhere, ended abruptly, with the sun shining just minutes before the shoot. A very appropriate setting for this unpredictable time. So very thankful for our health, happiness and to Lynda for capturing this moment that we could come together, out of our pajamas, and into the sun." - The Nguyen Family
"Life during a pandemic has proven to be tough! Then add working as an RN on a COVID unit while pregnant and life seems impossible. But, having a special moment as a family to take a break from reality, put on real clothes and have it captured by Lynda was the best “escape”. We are so thankful to have this memory and can’t wait for her to photograph our newest addition!" - The Prialx Family Here are a few more families from my evening in Westchester!**If you would like to contribute to this wonderful project - any little bit matters! We would love it if you did, you can easily VENMO Lindsay-Crossnohere and just tell her where you'd like to see your donation go! If you loved this project and would like to have me come visit your
