Well, I have officially wrapped up this project here in my community! It has been absolutely wonderful. I reached out to these families thinking "maybe I'll get a few families" and now that I look back and count it all up. I have photographed 120 families. I have visited 120 front steps. I have spoken to (while always practicing social-distancing) 120 families. I have edited almost 1,000 images. But the most important part... We have RAISED $3,900! We would love to get this number to 4K! So if you are able to donate a little bit more see how at the end of this post! Remember - these donations are going to the hard-working FRONT LINE employees of our community! Let's make them feel supported and help put a little smile on their face after some grueling days they are witnesses. Featured Families {EAST + WEST Makeups}If you loved this project and would like to have me come visit your front steps - fill out the form on my contact page! I am now taking into consideration families outside of Packanack Lake and seeing if I can reach out to more families and keep the donations coming! “During these uncertain times, we are so grateful to be healthy and have taken this opportunity to spend more time with each other to connect and bond further. We are incredibly thankful to be a part of this amazing community and even more thankful for all of the frontline workers” - The Isaacson Family "Quarantine 2020, has been bittersweet for our family! Started off early March rough, trying to entertain and learn 3 year old crafts, working from home and being 9 months pregnant ...oh the joy! But it all turned into great memories, that will last a lifetime! Our biggest joy was welcoming a new addition to our family! A baby girl, to the Packanack Communtiy and we are so grateful for the extra time we get to spend together as a family! We truly believe everything happens for a reason! However, our daughter has one heck of a story to tell about how she entered the world! 9 months quarantined and still going for her!!!" - The Novak Family
"Through this difficult time, seeing the sun through the clouds has not been easy. The upside is that we have each other to weather this storm!! With love, Bridget, Deidre & Molly." "As parents, you find the strength... even when your world is falling apart. You take a deep breath, put on a brave face and assure your children that they are safe and loved and everything will be okay. That is just what we have done. Our hearts are broken, yet we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take this picture - to give back to those in our community who sacrifice to keep us safe - and also connect as a family and remind our children that after every storm, comes a rainbow." - The Scorpo Family
"During this uncertain time, we have spent more time as a family - playing more board games, cooking, family movie times. Tim has spent more time on video conference calls, Mason and Max have adjusted to distance learning and staying connected with friends through Google Hangouts and I have traded in my lab coat for an apron and cycling shoes. We would like to thank all the frontline workers for all their hard work and sacrifices. We look forward to better times in the future." - The Kearns Family
