The Front Steps Project - continued! Below you will see a little snapshot of some more wonderful families who signed up for this project. These are some of the EAST SIDE families!
If you haven't heard about it. Check out my initial blog post to see what this is all about!
I have now photographed just around 115 families here at our lake community. I have accomplished my initial goal of visiting 100 front steps. And I think about this blog post - I still may have a few makeups!
Our DONATION TOTAL as of tonight is $3,200!!
Can't wait to see this money turned into amazing care packages for all the front line workers who are doing SO MUCH in the fight against this virus!
So, once again - thank you PACKANACK - for hopping on board with this effort that I am so happy to work on! Not to mention - I get to escape my own quarantine home and visit yours....all while putting smiles on your faces while really - I am the one who is smiling even bigger. Thank you for being the amazing community I am so, so proud to be a part of.
Brighter days are ahead!
Featured Families of the East Side
"During this uncertain time, we are embracing family togetherness. Our days are filled with Lego, Harry Potter and making memories with our new puppy! We are grateful for our health, the lake community, and all the front line workers." - The Tseytlin Family
"Although this time in quarantine has come with giving up a 4th birthday party and changes in the way we celebrate holidays, I cannot say enough about the joy, peace and love I find in the extra time spent with my daughter. We couldn’t celebrate Easter the way we wanted, but decided for our front steps picture we’d wear our Easter dresses with our bunny masks to show how we found lightheartedness in an unnerving time. We will continue to pick out these blessed moments and remind ourselves to care for those less fortunate." - Adrienne & Quinn
"We’ve been spending more time doing those “messy” projects that I always say we don’t have time for. The kids have loved making mud, painting the windows, and playing school! Something We look forward to each day is writing a new message to our neighbors on the drive way! It has brought us closer together and given us all some positive words! Charlotte gets so excited to see who has left us a new message back each day. We are just doing all we can to help those on the frontlines by staying home."- The Cullen Family
"During this unique time, we've taken advantage of the opportunity to connect further with our family and focus on all the little things that matter that we easily overlook in our busy lifestyle. We are incredibly thankful to all the frontline workers and feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing community." - The Wood Family
"In these uncertain & scary times, we are so thankful to Lynda for this project. Her creativity & generosity allowed us to capture what I hope we will remember most: our happy, healthy family taking a step back to enjoy the little things." - The Moakley Family
"We are thankful for the nurses, doctors, first responders and all other essential workers keeping us safe during this time. Keep #stayinghometogether and we will get through this!" - The Nissan Family
